Episode 29:

In this episode I dive into alternative healing methods with herbalist and energy medicine educator Amy Stein. Amy shares how we can work with the intelligence of Mother nature and our body to come back to a place of harmony. She believes that when we are open to hearing the body's messages for connection with the mind, body and spirit we can begin to heal. Reminding ourselves that we get to choose what is best for us as each person is unique in their needs and healing. Amy shares her own journey back to health and simple steps you can take to experience more vitality in your life.

You can watch the episode here:

"We're all unique. We all have unique experiences. Healing looks different for all of us. Just like a painting does, just like a poem, a song. We all have the ability to tap into that innate wisdom, but we're not taught about it." -Amy Stein

We discuss the following:

  • What it can look and feel like as you discover your own path to healing and how you can support yourself

  • Amy's personal journey of struggling with health issues, navigating medical systems that often overlooked the root cause, and seeking alternative approaches.

  • Reconnecting with the wisdom of Mother Earth, exploring the healing potential of plants, and reviving ancient knowledge in modern healing practices.

  • The importance of listening to the body, honoring intuition, and taking small, actionable steps towards wellness, supported by a community that embraces and empowers individual paths to healing

Amy’s mission is to educate and empower those who are struggling with their health on how to live in harmony in their bodies and environments in a natural way. By looking to work with Mother Nature’s intelligence rather than against it. Inspired by her own struggles with multiple autoimmune diseases and trauma; she believes that when we are open to hearing the body's messages for connection with the mind, body and spirit we can begin to heal. Reminding ourselves that we get to choose what is best for us as each person is unique in their needs and healing. Her approach uses the “power of the plants,” energy medicine techniques and breath work to assist in reconnecting you back to your body.

If I could stand on top of a mountain and share what's on my heart - I would start with this…We each have the ability to create what we need in our lives.

It's easy for me to apply that concept to creating a painting, a peaceful home, or even an abundant life - but there's one thing I've found that's very hard for me to talk about because it can feel like the scariest thing we will ever be called to create - and that is our own healing.

I've heard from so many of you about different health related issues that you're working through and how intense that can be and how much needs to shift in your life to make space for what's coming up. My heart goes out to you and I am right there with you on my own healing journey.

In this episode you'll hear from Amy Stein about the healing journey she's on and all of the things she's learned along the way.

This is the conversation I wish I could've listened to as I was figuring out alternative options for bringing my body back into balance when the doctors didn't have answers.

I know this can be a tough topic to process and that health is deeply personal. I also know that being healthy and coming back into a place of harmony can be difficult when we're surrounded by so many things that feel completely out of harmony, but I can't help but think it's all connected.

This shift that we're feeling, the physical issues that are surfacing, the disconnect from nature. It feels like an invitation to come back into balance and deep connection with our bodies, each other, and the planet.

Could you imagine a world where we could bring all of these perspectives together like one big collaboration with the shared vision of creating true health and vitality.

How would that look?

What could you add to that vision?
